The whole allium family — onion, garlic, chives, leeks — damages red blood cells, and cats are especially sensitive. Raw, cooked, and powdered forms (including in broths and seasoned leftovers) all count.
Signs to watch for: Weakness, pale gums, rapid breathing, reduced appetite
