Booking Terms, Waivers & Vaccination
Last updated August 2026. Written in plain English for transparency. This is a general template, not legal advice — have qualified counsel review it for your jurisdiction before you rely on it.
These terms apply when you book a groomer, vet, trainer, sitter, or other pro through EveryPetHaven. The service contract is between you and the independent Provider; EveryPetHaven facilitates booking and deposits only.
1. Deposits, cancellations & no-shows
A deposit holds your slot and is credited against the final bill. Cancellations are free up to 24 hours before the appointment unless the Provider states otherwise; later cancellations or no-shows may forfeit the deposit. Platform booking fees are non-refundable once a service is delivered.
2. Proof of vaccination
For grooming, boarding, daycare, and sitting, you confirm at booking that your pet's core vaccinations are current (e.g. rabies, and DHPP/FVRCP as applicable) and agree to provide proof on request. Providers may refuse service if vaccination status can't be confirmed.
3. Liability waiver & assumption of risk
Handling animals carries inherent risks (stress, injury, illness, escape, allergic reaction, matting removal complications, and behaviour that can't always be predicted). By booking you acknowledge and assume these risks, and you agree that EveryPetHaven is not liable for injury, illness, loss, or death of a pet, or property damage, arising from a Provider's services. Claims are between you and the Provider, who carries their own insurance.
4. Health & behaviour disclosure
You agree to disclose, before the appointment, any medical condition, medication, allergy, or history of biting or aggression. Non-disclosure that leads to harm is your responsibility. Providers may decline or stop a service for safety.
5. Emergency veterinary authorization
For boarding, daycare, and sitting, you authorize the Provider to obtain emergency veterinary care if your pet appears to need it and you can't be reached, and you agree to reimburse reasonable veterinary costs. You may set a spending cap and preferred vet in your booking notes.
6. Reviews
Reviews come only from completed, paid bookings, so ratings reflect real visits.
